Totally Tots at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

Children’s museums are one of our favorite indoor places to go. My kids, like all children are curious but I don’t think they’re ready for bigger museums just yet. We go to smaller, more interactive museums because they get a chance to see, touch and explore things more rather than a traditional museum where most exhibits are hands off. Living in Brooklyn, or favorite museum is close by. I took Zayn to the Brooklyn’s Children Museum a few weeks ago for the first time. We haven’t been able to go as frequently as I’d like to because of work and other scheduling so this was his first time at the museum and we only went to the toddler section. However he had a BLAST. I’m not sure if he even noticed that there was WAY MORE museum that he missed. Continue Reading →

Avengers Endgame: Special Look Trailer Thoughts

Guys!! It’s April and it’s officially what I’m calling Avengers Day! We are so much closer to the premiere of Avengers Endgame and my heart is POUNDING after watching the special look trailer today. I have so many emotions about what Marvel has given us so far (hello Shuri!) and I know they probably aren’t going to give us too much more. I’m going to be traveling and BUSY premiere weekend but I’m hoping I can sneak some time in to check it out before too many spoilers are all over the internet.

This trailer had me in my feelings.

Disneynature Penguins: Getting Your Kids Excited About Earth Day

I’m not gonna lie, the Disneynature movies don’t get the same amount of love that other Disney movies get.  Unless you’re a one year old. If Zayn is excited about any movie coming out, it’s this one. He knows what the trailer sounds like and when he hears the commercial come on Disney Junior he’s running in from another room to catch it. It’s always adorable to see him gasp and point like it’s his first time. Every single time.

My kids are animal lovers. I’m pretty sure RJ has transferred his love of animals to his little brother. We frequent zoos, the aquarium and take all chances to get up close and personal with animals. The majority of their favorite movies involve animal characters and RJ spends a lot of time perfecting his animal sounds. It only makes sense that they’re just as excited about this movie as any other one. I’m also pretty sure that they think it’s going to be something similar to Happy Feet. They still watch that movie on repeat. Continue Reading →

I Refuse to Accept Shuri’s Fate in These Newly Released Posters for Avengers Endgame

Marvel hit us right in the feels the other day when they released a TON of new posters for Avengers Endgame. We waited all this time to learn more about the movie and now they’ve honestly given me more than I am able to handle. When the posters first dropped I was SO hype. I love character posters (that’s why I share them so often). They give you an opportunity to see a little bit of the characters personality before the movie is released.
