7 INCREDIBLE Gifs In Case You Forgot Why The Incredibles Is An Amazing Movie!

Let’s face it, the Incredibles was released a LONG time ago. Any true Pixar fan could quote the movie start to finish and can rattle off their favorite parts without even stopping to think because the movie is JUST THAT INCREDIBLE. Of course, attending the university of shady makes madam Edna Mode one of my favorite characters, but Jack Jack does come in at a close second, I’m a sucker for a cute baby. I’m super excited for June 15th and the long overdue release of part 2 in theaters.

The movie is a CLASSIC but some may need a little reminder of some of the movies best moments. Plus, who doesn’t love a good gif nowadays??

More Me Time | 2017.5 Mazda 6 Review

Special thanks to Mazda for allowing me to test drive the Mazda 6 Grand Touring for a week in exchange for my honest review. As always, all opinions (and shenanigans) belong to me.

I spend basically ALL my free time with my kids. Like a…. “cant find an app on my phone that isn’t animated or ends with “Kids” because I’m always passing my phone over to the 3 year old” amount of time. Or a… “I sneak and watch all my shows at work because when I’m home I’m only watching Disney Junior” amount of time. So one of my for this year is to spend more time doing things that I love that doesn’t involve my kids. Don’t get me wrong I love them, but i need some time to decompress occasionally without Ryan’s ToysReview ringing in my background.

When I got the opportunity to review the Mazda 6 Grand Touring I immediately fell in love with the interior, and then immediately panicked because it has the most amazing “parchment leather” interior and these little boys are a hot MESS. But I knew I was about to enjoy my time with the car even if I enjoyed it alone (which I did for the most part). The weather was disrespectful for most of the week but every time I got into the Mazda 6 I forgot about what was going on outside.

The inside of the Mazda 6 really captivated me. From the infotainment system, to the 11 BOSE surround sound speakers, I never lacked comfort while inside (lets not even talk about the heated seats and steering wheel cause spring definitely hasn’t sprung around these parts). But I think the thing that fascinated me the most with the Mazda 6 is the focus on safety. The Active Driving Display clearly displays your speed, lane departure, and even has street sign technology so you can be aware of your surroundings without ever looking away from the road.

And while the interior is amazing and beautiful they definitely don’t slack on exterior. Mazda’s KODO: Soul of Motion philosophy definitely rings true in their design of the Mazda 6. The exterior comes equipped with some awesome safety features as well that you can check out here

I definitely enjoyed having time to myself and exploring in the Mazda 6 Grand Touring. I’m not a stay at home mom but I definitely stay home A LOT and I’m learning how to separate myself without feeling the guilt. Having a cute car to drive definitely made this week easier. 😉

What are some of your favorite things to do when you’re not “momming”? How do you decompress and spend me time? Don’t forget to leave your thoughts and comments below. XOXO

Milk & Cream Cereal Bar Will Change Your Cereal Experience | Explore NYC

Cereal bars are definitely trending right now and all over social media I see memes and videos galore about visiting them on dates or while intoxicated or something of the sort. So naturally, I decided to go on a regular day, with no real plans, while I was waiting for RJ to get out of school. I searched Facebook HARD for an Insider video and found Milk & Cream Cereal Bar, located right over the bridge and easy enough to get to so that I wouldn’t be late for 2:40 school pickup.

Menu via MilkandCreambar.com

Combining the best of both worlds, Milk and Cream brags on serving up nostalgia in every bite. And they definitely lived up to my expectations. I already knew what I wanted on the walk in. I did you the courtesy of posting the menu above because if youre like me, you need to plan in advance for food and prepare your taste buds for the amazingness youre about to endure.

The possibilities and combinations seemed endless but I decided to go with the Apple Jack Avalanche on a waffle cone. It was heaven! I can’t wait to go back and try something else. This spot is definitely a cute place for a day date, or just to grab a snack if you need a pick me up before school pick up like I did.

What do you think? What’s your favorite cereal? Have you ever been to a cereal bar?

So We’re Just NOT Going to Talk About the Little Black Girl in the Roseanne Reboot?

 Source: ABC

Source: ABC

We’ve gotten a couple sneak peaks of the show and there have been soooo many #QTNA. Dans alive? Where’s David? How the heck are they casting both Becky’s? How are they going to address the whole “all of this has been made up” thing that they just ended the series with? Do we REALLY need to mention Trump (ok maybe that’s just my question)?

But there’s also a lot buzz around some of the new characters. If you do a quick search for new characters in the reboot you’ll find many a post about Mark, Darlene and David’s 9 year old son that dresses like a girl. Countless articles address the gender nonconforming Conner kid and I think it’s going to be interesting to see how his character unfolds in the season. But if you haven’t seen any pictures of the upcoming revival and just caught the release of the new opening sequence the other day you were probably just as surprised as I was.

D.J., Roseanne and Dan’s son also has a child in the upcoming series. Mary is played by Jayden Rey and the teenaged, Nick @ Nite loving insomniac in me couldn’t help but feel excited when I saw her beautiful brown face bouncing around the Conner table in the opening sequence. I’m honestly sad that she hasn’t gotten as much buzz as other newcomers because I think the introduction of a black girl to the Conner cast is EXTREME for the show. I clearly remember the episode way way back in the day where D.J. wanted to quit his school play because he didn’t want to kiss his black classmate Gina. The episode widely addressed prejudice & of course I remember it clearly.

I’ll admit, prior to finding out about Jayden Rey’s role I wasn’t all that excited for the reboot because I just don’t have time to give anything Trump-esque my energy but I’m interested to see how Mary is going to fit into the family. I’m praying praying praying hard that Roseanne doesn’t disappoint me and little Jayden gets her shine on. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

How do you feel about the reboot? Vaguely interested?

Toddler Approved | Laser Bounce is Now Open in Atlas Park, Queens!

If you’re wondering whether the new Laser Bounce location in Atlas Park is appropriate for toddlers then the answer is a resounding YES! We decided to visit the newly opened location during mid-winter recess to check it out and RJ had a BLAST!

Laser bounce features a HUGE Ballocity Arena which gives the kids a chance to propel, throw, dump and vacuum foam balls. The arena is multi-level and features a huge variety of blasters, vacuums and even has a slide. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of balls in the arena and there was plenty of space to run around. Some of the vacuums/blasters were a little loud and RJ was startled initially but he got used to it pretty quickly.

The Bounce Arena had multiple bouncy houses including a basketball themed bounce house and a huge inflatable wack-a-mole. Anyone that knows RJ knows jumping is his THING. He wanted to stay in the bounce arena for a lot longer but we wanted to make sure he tried out multiple areas of the arcade since we purchased the package that also included arcade credits, highway 66 bowling and the ballocity and bounce arenas for $20.

I didnt get to take that many additional photos because once RJ wasn’t in a confined area he was OUT! Luckily for us we went on a day that wasn’t super crowded and I suspect it was because not many people realized the location was open yet but its been a few weeks since then and I’m sure word has definitely spread. Luckily, the do split up the time in the Ballocity and Bounce Arena into sessions so that it’s not a free for all and I’m sure that reduces the crowding in the areas.

Aside from everything mentioned, the location also has a huge laser tag arena, a mission impossible style laser maze, hologate VR and a huge selection of arcade games. While the first couple things I just mentioned may not work exactly for younger ones, a lot of the arcade games were perfect for RJs size. I loved that there were a lot of games he could play and didn’t really need my help which is hard to find in an arcade at 3 (minus Chuck E. Cheese)

All in all this location has a wide array of things to do and they have packages that are priced amazingly! I can’t wait to take RJ back. It’s definitely a great place to have your littles burn off some energy and enjoy a nice quiet car ride home.

Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored in any way. I used my own coins to pay for our package and am simply giving an honest review based on our experience at this location. I definitely can’t wait to check them out again!
