Archibald’s Next Big Thing is THE NEXT Show You Need to Watch With Your Littles

You guys already know that my littles and I LOVE Netflix. I’m not gonna lie though these kids are not easy to convince to try something new. If I let them they would watch Into the Spiderverse, Motown Magic, Twice Upon a Christmas and Gnome Alone in rotation all day. So over the weekend when Archibald’s Next Big Thing started streaming it took a little convincing. I don’t blame them, you like what you like. But mommy’s vote outweighs them all so when it was family time to Netflix and chill, I was ready to see what Archibald was up to.

20 Movies Now Streaming on Netflix Kids that Are Perfect for Halloween

I am admittedly a scaredy cat but Halloween feels like the official start of the holiday season to me and thus, it is a favorite. I love dressing up the boys, taking them out and then hiding and eating their candy for days. We are always looking for movies to get us into the spirit of ANY holiday really, so our Netflix subscription stays paid. When I was younger I used to look forward to Halloween on the Disney channel. Now thankfully, platforms like Freeform give us 31 days of Halloween (check out the lineup from my friend Sanaa). But since I’m positive I have some cord cutters I’m passing on the streaming options. If you want to get into the Halloween spirit with the whole family without getting spooked, here is a list of Halloween movies on Netflix kids.

Here’s How You Can Join The Disney+ Founders Circle

D23 Expo was last week and of course everyone was REALLY there to find out more of the scoop on Disney+. Disney’s streaming service is set to launch this November and will give you access to over 500 films, 10 original films and THOUSANDS of TV show episodes all within it’s first year. It will also be the only place you can stream Disney’s 2019 slate of movie releases. And with a surprisingly reasonable price, one had to wonder what other goodness was coming to Disney’s latest platform. Then we found out that there would be a special sign up for d23 members to sign up for Disney plus and be a member of the founders circle and of course I couldn’t wait for the details!

Check out everything you need to know about Disney+ here. Continue Reading →

This September Freeform is Giving Us 30 Days of Disney

Freeform is absolutely one of my favorite channels once back to school starts. We usually get 31 Days of Halloween, Countdown to Christmas and then 25 Days of Christmas. But this year Freeform has decided to make the month of September a little more magical by presenting us with 30 Days of Disney. If you cannot guess from the name, all September long on Freeform they will be airing some of our favorite Disney classics. Freeform is the channel my boys first saw The Lion King on, and since Moana is no longer on Netflix they will be super excited to watch it when it airs in September. Continue Reading →

I’m Sorry Beyhive, But the Duos Were Really the Stars of The Lion King

I know I’m going to get ALL the shade for this post but I am prepared for it. Let me just insert my disclaimer here. I am a proud member of the Beyhive. I was fully prepared for EVERYTHING that the queen was about to serve up when The Lion King hit theaters. And just being in the same space as her when I went to the world premiere in LA was AMAZING. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Beyonce slays at every single opportunity given. But I wasn’t as drawn to her in The Lion King as I expected to be. In fact, after I watched the movie I found myself unexpectedly in love with a few characters that I wasn’t expecting. These dynamic duos were undoubtedly the stars of The Lion King.
